Hyatt Hotels Suite Upgrade Award

The award is applied at the time we attach it to your reservation, and confirmation depends on suite availability at that point. If suites are available, the upgrade is confirmed before your arrival — not "subject to availability at check-in" as standard upgrades are. We recommend purchasing and applying the award as far in advance of your stay as possible to maximise availability.

The Suite Upgrade Award works at all participating World of Hyatt properties, including Park Hyatt, Andaz, Grand Hyatt, Alila, Thompson Hotels, Hyatt Regency, and Hyatt Centric. Non-participating properties (such as some SLH or partner hotels) may be excluded — we confirm eligibility when you provide your stay details.

Yes. The Suite Upgrade Award is combinable with World of Hyatt free-night award redemptions, Points + Cash bookings, and standard paid rates. It works across all qualifying booking types.

A standard suite is the first suite-tier room category above your booked standard room. It does not include Presidential, Penthouse, or specialty suite categories, which are outside the award scope at most properties.

If no qualifying suites are available at the time we attempt to apply the award, we will notify you immediately. In that case you may choose a different date or property, or receive a full refund.
