Questions before you choose

Does the recipient need to be a World of Hyatt member?

Yes — they need a World of Hyatt loyalty account, which is free to create. They do not need any elite status. The Guest of Honor award applies Globalist-level benefits to their booking regardless of their personal tier.

Can I use the award at any Hyatt property?

The award works at all participating World of Hyatt properties, covering brands including Park Hyatt, Andaz, Grand Hyatt, Alila, Thompson Hotels, Hyatt Regency, and Hyatt Centric. A small number of non-participating properties may be excluded — confirm when providing stay details.

Is breakfast included for just the guest or all people on the booking?

Breakfast is included for all registered guests on the reservation, as it would be for a Globalist member. For a two-person booking, both guests receive the full breakfast benefit.

What if the property does not have suites available?

Suite upgrades under Globalist — and by extension the Guest of Honor award — are subject to availability at the time of check-in. The front-desk team will offer the best available upgrade above the booked room category.

Can the award be transferred to a different stay after purchase?

The award is designated to a specific stay when we attach it. Changes after attachment may not be possible depending on booking timeline. Please confirm all stay details before purchase.
