Points are credited as bonus points within 1–3 business days of purchase. You will receive a notification from Hilton Honors when the balance updates, or you can check your activity statement in the Hilton Honors app.

Hilton Honors points do not expire as long as your account has at least one qualifying activity every 24 months. Qualifying activities include earning points from a hotel stay, transferring points to an airline partner, using a co-branded Hilton Honors credit card, or other partner earning activities.

Yes. Hilton Honors points transfer to 40+ airline partners at a 10:1 ratio — 10,000 Hilton points convert to 1,000 airline miles. A 5,000-mile bonus is added for every 40,000 points transferred (effective ratio of 10:1.125 at 40k increments). Partners include British Airways Avios, Virgin Atlantic, Singapore KrisFlyer, ANA, United, and others.

Hilton Honors Gold and Diamond members receive the 5th night free on 5-night standard award redemptions. On a 5-night stay, only 4 nights are deducted from your balance — effectively reducing the per-night cost by 20%. This benefit applies to standard room award bookings (not premium rooms or cash+points rates at all properties).
