Before budgeting for a Hilton mattress run in 2026, check that your target uses the new thresholds. Gold now has a 25-night route and Diamond a 50-night route. Reusing the previous 40- and 60-night targets can lead you to plan more nights than necessary. Hilton's programme-change announcement.
LuxuryAscent lists Hilton packages at US$49 for one night, US$450 for 10 and US$999 for 25. This article compares those advertised costs with illustrative night gaps; it is not a test of the service or a guarantee of Hilton credit.

The unit prices are package cost divided by advertised nights. Ten nights cost $40 less than the $490 single-night-rate benchmark. Twenty-five cost $226 less than the corresponding $1,225 benchmark. Confirm any additional payable costs before comparing with actual hotel stays.
Recalculate a Diamond gap using 50 nights
Take a member with 34 qualifying nights already posted and six expected from forthcoming travel. The projected total is 40, leaving 10 to reach the 2026 Diamond night target:
50 − 34 − 6 = 10 nights
Using the old 60-night target would produce a 20-night gap instead. That would materially change the budget for no good reason. This example assumes all six planned nights qualify and complete in the relevant year.
For a member with 24 qualifying nights and no further travel planned, the Gold night-route gap is only one. A smaller gap deserves a smaller decision; it does not justify choosing a 10- or 25-night package by default.
Do not mistake nights for every qualification route

The useful comparison is total additional cost to your next worthwhile outcome. A low advertised per-night figure is only one input.
Confirm eligibility and value
Hilton does not award qualifying-night credit for no-shows, even when charged. Before relying on a third-party package, establish the actual arrangement, your participation requirements and how the activity satisfies the programme rules. Hilton Honors terms.
Then test the budget against future travel. A hypothetical $450 outlay needs $45 of additional value across each of 10 future stays to break even. That is a personal budgeting hurdle, not an estimate of guaranteed Hilton benefits.
If the corrected gap, alternative routes and eligibility all support the decision, review the Hilton packages. Start with the current rules, not last year's target.
