How is Hilton Diamond different from Gold?
Gold gets you free breakfast (or F&B credit), 80% bonus points, and space-available room upgrades. Diamond adds executive lounge access at Conrad and Waldorf Astoria, 100% bonus points, the 5th-night-free award benefit, and Diamond-only customer service routing. The lounge access and award discount are the main upgrade reasons.
Will my status work outside the United States?
Yes — Diamond is fully recognized at all 7,000+ Hilton-branded properties worldwide. Lounge access actually has stronger coverage internationally than in the US, since most international full-service Hiltons have a club lounge whereas many US Hiltons substitute it with the daily F&B credit.
How long does Diamond status last?
Through 31 March 2028 — that's the current Hilton status year plus the following one, around 14 months of total coverage from activation. After that you would need to qualify natively or purchase a renewal.
Is this safe to use on my existing account?
Yes. We apply the upgrade through Hilton's official channels — your account history, points balance, and stay credits are unaffected. The status simply shows up on your profile.
