Questions before you choose

Is the upgrade truly guaranteed, not subject to availability?

Yes. Hertz President's Circle is the only Hertz tier that guarantees a complimentary upgrade. If an upgraded vehicle is not available, Hertz will provide a comparable vehicle or address the situation directly. This distinguishes President's Circle from Five Star and Gold, where upgrades are subject to availability.

Does the free additional driver apply to all rental types?

Yes. The free additional driver waiver applies on all President's Circle rentals, including leisure, business, and corporate-rate bookings. Up to two additional drivers are covered in most markets.

Do I need to pick up at the counter first?

No. President's Circle members bypass the counter entirely at Hertz airport locations. Your name appears on the departure board in the Gold lot or President's Circle area — proceed directly to your assigned or selected vehicle.

Does the 50% bonus points apply to corporate rentals?

Gold Plus Rewards bonus points apply on qualifying personal and business rentals. Some corporate discount programmes may exclude points earning — confirm with Hertz if your employer uses a specific corporate code.

Is a refund available if status cannot be applied?

Yes. Full refund guaranteed if processing cannot be completed within the stated 2–5 business day window.
