Status covers your Accor ALL account only — hotel room charges, taxes, and incidentals are billed directly by the property. Non-refundable once processing has commenced. Please confirm the current validity period at checkout — check that the coverage dates align with your planned travel before purchasing. The Qatar Airways cross-match is a separate application made via Qatar's website after Platinum activates; it is not automatically triggered and is subject to Qatar's current match programme terms, typically valid for 6 months. The Asia-Pacific breakfast benefit applies at participating properties only — confirm at individual hotel level.

Questions before you choose

Does Accor Platinum include free breakfast?

At Asia-Pacific properties (Sofitel Bangkok, Singapore, Sydney, and others), Platinum activates complimentary breakfast for 7 consecutive days per stay. At European and other international Sofitel and Pullman properties, breakfast access is via the Executive Lounge, where continental breakfast is included. Confirm the specific benefit at your target property before arrival.

How does the Qatar Airways cross-match work?

Once Accor Platinum is active, you submit a status match request via a webform on the Qatar Airways Privilege Club website. The match is reviewed and typically granted to Gold tier (Oneworld Sapphire) within a few weeks. Oneworld Sapphire gives access to business class lounges on all 13 Oneworld member airlines when travelling in any cabin class on a Oneworld carrier. The match is typically valid for 6 months and renewable.

What are the two guaranteed suite night certificates?

Platinum members receive two guaranteed suite night upgrade certificates per status year, applicable at Sofitel, MGallery, and other participating brands. Unlike space-available upgrades at check-in, these certificates are confirmed at booking — contact the property's concierge in advance to apply one. Subject to suite availability at the time of application.

Is Accor Platinum useful for US travel?

Primarily no — Accor's US footprint is limited to approximately 5 Sofitel properties and a small number of Fairmont and Raffles outlets. The status is most valuable for travel in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, where the Sofitel, Pullman, Fairmont, and Raffles networks are strongest.

How long does processing take?

What is the difference between Platinum and Diamond?

Diamond (the top Accor tier) adds Executive Club access at all ALL-programme properties, not just lounge-equipped ones; guaranteed room availability with 48 hours' notice; and an enhanced welcome experience at every Sofitel and MGallery. Platinum delivers the core benefits — lounge access, suite certificates, and the Qatar match — at a materially lower price point. Diamond is the better choice for travellers averaging 50+ Accor nights annually where the club access breadth and guarantee benefit pay out regularly.
